[GNC] Claims file is locked; stalls when I delete lck file

When I open GnuCash, it claims the file is locked.

I have tried Read Only, Open Anyways, and deleting the lck file.

All three options close the window, but then the program stalls.
ctrl-alt-del does not list GnuCash. A new lck file is created.

I was running 5.10. I'm not sure if I'd actually used that version or just
installed it. Updating to 5.12 did not change the symptoms.
