... are you sure about that?  This Apple list of Mac models 
<https://support.apple.com/en-us/108052> lists systems from 2018 which 
support macOS Sequoia, and have intel processors. e.g. the MacBook Pro 
(13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports).

I completely agree with this. There are GnuCash installers for macOS 
Apple Silicon and for macOS intel, and one should download the correct one.

That seems consistent with Chris having the Apple Silicon GnuCash 
installer for an intel Mac.
