That is great to hear that you are using the current versions of Ubuntu
(25.04) and GnuCash (5.12)!
I noticed that you are compiling an older version of GnuCash (6/28/2025)
than the release date that is listed on the Flathub page for the GnuCash
Flatpak (16 days ago) - https://flathub.org/apps/org.gnucash.GnuCash
https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Flatpak - Ubuntu prefers its Snap
packages, but it is possible to run Flatpaks on Ubuntu -
