[GNC] Newbie: Gnucash credit card payment transactions don't make sense

It looks to me like you created the CC-AT&T account in the asset not liability tree, so the payment increases it as an asset.
Here is my May Discover Card DC4 payment in the card:Date           Num Description        Memo/Notes Transfer from/to Debit         Credit03/12/2025        Discover Donna                      BofA Cking        $2,045.55 

Here is my BofA Checking payment entry: Date           Num Description        Memo/Notes Transfer from/to Debit         Credit
03/12/2025        Discover Donna                      DC4 DLSP                          $2,045.55

from a transaction report.  Alas, the spaing may be off, but the payment is debit on the CC and credit on the Checking.
