Hi Bruce,
Thank you. I found the FinanceAPI and will look into that further when I have a bit more time, as most of this is new to me!
The links to the information I referred to previously are:https://global.morningstar.com/en-gb/investments/funds/0P0000WN82/documents andhttps://global.morningstar.com/en-gb/investments/funds/0P0000TKZK/documentsfrom where I downloaded their relevant factsheets. I have yet to check whether the symbols work in GnuCash, but as the long symbols (0P0000WN82.L and 0P0000TKZK.L) are working, I'm not inclined to 'rock the boat' for the time being!
Thanks again.AlanG

You are welcome.

The 'financeapi' method is listed as "YH Finance" I believe. It does
require signing up and getting an API Key/Token at https://financeapi.net/.
Please send the link. It will be handy to know if F::Q team needs to
replace symbols used in the test script.

mentioned previously both MorningstarUK and FTFunds will only query on
ISIN codes.
The man page or documentation for each can be displayed by executing
"perldoc Finance::Quote::MorningstarUK" or "perldoc
Finance::Quote::FTfunds". An alternative is to look them up on MetaCPAN.
https://metacpan.org/pod/Finance::Quote::MorningstarUK
https://metacpan.org/pod/Finance::Quote::FTfunds
Both note that only ISIN codes are used for lookups.
Thank you.
