Hi all,
An update here.  I still don't know WHY the problem happened with this
one particular account; but I have FIXED it.  The fix was really simple
too.  The one thing with all my troubleshooting that I didn't try was to
simply save my GnuCash data file and exit the program.  Once I exited
and then re-opened the data file, the problem was gone.  The Hidden
checkbox was working again for this account the way it was supposed to
work.  I still don't know what triggered or caused the problem; but I
just wanted to let you guys know how easy it was to fix it.  Live and learn.
Tom
