[GNC] When will verion 5.13 be fixed to allow bills to be paid without crashing?

This is nothing to do with Geoff; all he said about GnuCash is true, and I
am VERY grateful to the GnuCash team. As a software engineer myself, I
appreciate the work that goes into maintaining Gnucash.

HOWEVER...

Every time someone mentions a problem with GnuCash, someone posts something
like the post below, effectively attacking the messenger... ("How DARE you
say anything negative about GnuCash; it's FREE and people VOLUNTEER their
time to maintain it")

This is unfair... because the people behind GnuCash do an outstanding job
with new releases, they have set the set our expectations high. They do
good work, and we, the user base, expect it.

Thus when a release like 5.13 comes out and has several problems, it
certainly seems fair to ask questions about it and it seems a bit unjust to
attack such a user.

(As a side note, I would not call 5.13 a "fiasco"; I would use that word if
5.13 was corrupting the data files beyond repair... THAT would be a
"fiasco" - this is just a buggy release.)

In my recollection, there have been 2-3 release issues like this one over
the last dozen or so releases. The GnuCash team has been excellent about
jumping on these issues and getting them fixed.

But let's not attack people who point out the problems.
