[GNC] Reverting to an Earlier Configuration

Paul,
The key to keeping your open windows and open reports configurations is to
remember that they are considered part of the user settings rather than the
file settings. Thus they are only updated when you click File > Quit or
click the red "X" in the upper right corner of the window. When you
accidentally delete something you can select File > Close without saving
the data file and you won't lose those settings but you will lose your most
recent edits. I periodically back up my user settings using the method
described in the FAQ's just in case.
By the way, you should also be saving all 'carefully constructed' reports
as saved report configurations with all the key words in the titles needed
to distinguish one from another.
