[GNC] where is the parameter to set " Reports > Income & Expense > Expense Piechart" to pull the data set that I want?

I think your main problem may be a currency issue.  What do you have set for

Edit / Pref / Accounts / Default currency

and why are your Canadian$ to $ rates so far off?  How have you been 
entering currency transactions?
