an old bug

The original bug report there (http://bugs.debian.org/188305) was
actually TWO bug reports:

1) First, a complaint about the handling of locales and parsing of
   scheduled transactions, and
2) A crash that happens under some circumstances closing the scheduled
   transactions window.

It got merged with a second report about (2), and when that problem
was fixed, both bugs got closed.

But problem (1) still remains open.  I don't know how to tell bugzilla
to reopen that report, but I would like it if it could remain in the
database.  (With whatever priority; perhaps it is only a wishlist
item; I leave that to your judgment.)
