When a HBCI connection is running, you see the window with the progress bars
("HBCI Verbindungsfenster"). In the text field "Protokoll"/"Log messages",
you can eventually read the message Martin is talking about -- either
"Auftrag entgegengenommen (20)", or "Auftrag zur Ausführung vorgemerkt (10)".
If the last text message there is anything different than these two, it means
something went wrong -- but if it is either one of these codes, then Gnucash
and OpenHBCI has done all we can do.
Now I admit that the connection window might disappear a bit too quick when
the connection is finished. However, I can't really tell whether user like it
more when the window stays around, and they have to make it disappear
manually (meaning one more extra mouse click), or when the window disappears
automatically. If you want to try out having to manually close the window,
simply in GnuCash's file src/import-export/hbci/gnc-hbci-transfer.c remove or
comment out line 101, "GNCInteractor_hide (interactor);" and compile and
install again. If you think users would like it more this way, I can change
this to be the default behaviour.
