My addition to this would be docs. I think I can get the help done by
mid-november and ready to go. This is completely new help and moves it
to the guidelines the GNOME documentation project uses for application
help. It will be task based and focused on letting the user know how to
get things done rather than having lengthy explanations as to accounting
concepts.
The second bit, which I'm not sure how much I will get done (if any more
at all) will be called the GnuCash Tutorial and Concepts Guide. I will
use as the basis for this the excellent material written by Carol
Champagne. This material is already marked up but needs editing and
additional sections completed. Even if I get nothing more done to this I
could get what is there ready in time for release.
The only thing I'm not sure about, and you may have a better idea here
christian, is translations of the help.

I have no problem in handling release tarballs and can make rpm's also
targeted for RH 7.3.
