To use GnuCash with KDE, you'll still need to use the Gnome libraries.
On linuxpackages.net, a Slackware GnuCash package is listed.  You may
just want to work with the maintainer of that package to make it
slapt-get compatible, and make sure all the dependencies are available
in a slapt-get tree.
