gnome2 graphing status

I agree. But do just stub out the register id code; it shouldn't be
too hard to add the click-identification to GOG (its just a bunch of
intersections).   I'm cc'ing Jody Goldberg, the (lead?) devel on GOG 
as an FYI ...
