Actually I think the HEAD branch currently locks up *every time* you want to 
close gnucash again. Funny enough this happens after the lock file has been 
cleaned up. Gnucash locks up at 100% CPU, and when pressing Control-C I end 
up with stack traces like the one below.

Anyway, HEAD branch is by definition quite unstable :-)
