you're welcome. What you did wasn't "wrong" -- you and your fellow French 
translators only didn't seem to coordinate your efforts well enough. That's 
what I pointed out.

Thank you very much. I have committed your file to SVN now. 

In the CC: you see the other recent translators who worked on the French 
translation -- I guess they will contact you now if any of them intends to 
work on the French translation as well, so that you can coordinate your 
effort. If none of them reacts (because e.g. Jonathan already announced he 
won't have time for gnucash in the near future), then you are currently the 
only active translator and there shouldn't be such a conflict which I had 
noted in my earlier message.

No, these strings were (unfortunately) allowed to break the string freeze. 
Mostly they're strings that existed anyway but were forgotten to be marked 
for translation. Apart from that, no other strings have changed.
