Yes, but now that I've looked at some e-mail messages with discussion
of slib and guile and the same types of errors (circa Oct 2005, and
cygwin is using guile version 1.6.7), I believe I may not have the
latest gnucash source.  I checked out the 2.0 branch, should I have
checked out the head instead?
