Nah..  Thanks anwyays.  ;)

I suspect the problem is that GNC_LIBEXECDIR isn't depending on
$(prefix) but rather $(prefix) is being evaluated earlier, like in
configure.  Is GNC_LIBEXECDIR used anywhere else?
