GnuCash 2.0 Official Linux Installer

To try and preempt Derek here...

I think you miss the point of what you were told here. The people working on
Gnucash do so as volunteers, and do so selfishly. It may seem harsh, but they
don't owe anything to their users. They get to chose what they do and when
they do it and do not have to care that you have a particular deadline or
class that you are teaching. Your deadline is your deadline, not their
deadline. That's why it says in the license (among other reasons) "comes with
absolutely no warrenty, even the implied warrenty of merchantablity or
fitness for a particular purpose."

If you don't know how to program, then you can either wait indefinitely for
somebody to volunteer to do your problem, or you can pay somebody to make the
change you need when you need it (Hence why people often get confused with
the meaning of "free"). Other than that, the developers here are doing what
they want to do, and you can't really tell them otherwise.

Good luck,
-Kyle Bishop
