For the record, I don't think it's been this long.  According
to po/pt_BR.po:

"POT-Creation-Date: 2006-11-27 10:48+0100\n"
"PO-Revision-Date: 2004-07-11 13:30-0300\n"

So it looks like it's only been under three years since the
last update (around release 1.8.4).
