Multiple installed gnucash problem.

Dear Madams and Sirs,

I installed gnucash-2.2.3-setup.exe and gnucash worked.

I installed gnucash-2.2.99-svn-r16964-setup.exe into a differnet install dir and differnet startuup menu location from gnucash-2.2.3.

Niether gnucash-2.2.3 or gnucash-2.2.99 worked.

Is this because of setup data in .gnucash directory?

If yes, how can I change gnucash-2.2.99 so that I can run it to test it, wiithout upsetting the version of gnucash I I am currently using?

I unistalled both verions of gnucash and reinstalled gnucash-2.2.3. gnucash-2.2.3 now works again.
