Hi Mike,

Thanks for the feedback. I notice you have committed your revisited code 
in the meantime already. Good ! Though not fully finished, I don't feel 
the state of the reverse sort is now blocking for feature freeze.

The bug you refer to isn't either (for feature freeze). It probably is 
for release and we will have to look into it before that time.
