If you don't need it, you're safer to just remove it again. The interactive guile shell in cygwin 
is the same as what I had you set up directly in the command window.

If there are version mismatches between guile in cygwin and guile as used by gnucash, *and* 
cygwin registers itself in the global windows PATH, you may see unexpected behaviour in 
gnucash.
