I hope that someone can help you with the bug you report ... but ...
I was wondering ..

I was wondering if you could send in some suitably harmless, sanitized 
version of a qfx file? I've heard of such beasts, but haven't seen one,
and was curious to see what the format is ...

If there is a way you could generate one with a minimum of personal
information in it, I would like to add it to our collection of samples.
