RedHat 7.1 and KDE install (fwd)

Hi all,

Well I got the same result with gnucash 1.6.0 but decided to wait until
1.6.1 to see if it was fixed. Unfortunately it is not.

I get the following message when running gnucash as a user:

It appears you do not have the 'slib' scheme library installed.
You need slib2c4 or later to run GnuCash.

Obtain slib at: http://swissnet.ai.mit.edu/~jaffer/SLIB.html

If you have slib installed, you may need to create
a symbolic link named 'slib' from the guile directory
(usually /usr/share/guile) to the directory where slib
is installed.

You may also need to run GnuCash once as root.

As I have slib-2d1-ximian.4 installed I ran gnucash as root and it started up.
But trying as a user it still produces the above response.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
James.
