You can avoid *some* mouse clicks if you open an "Account Summary" report, 
then select only those accounts that you frequently like to open, and then 
leave that report open (upon closing -- it will be restored upon restart). 
Since every account there is a hyperlink to the register, you will need only 
one mouse click now.
