Instability in 1.6.5

Yes, the contents of the file are fine.  As mentioned in another message,
the problem was a library (libsafe) that was intercepting Gnucash and
preventing it from calling certain XML file attributes.  Libsafe was
designed to prevent malicious code from causing buffer overruns.  Removing
the library corrected the problem.  I still get frequent segmentation
faults, but the data seems intact after each crash.  Unfortunately I must
manually delete the lockfiles to re-open the accounts.

Is your XML-file o.k.?
I received some similar errors when my xac-file got corrupted (some
lines from the very beginning were gone away).
