Problem with special chars in Account names

I'm running Gnucash 1.6.5 and using Guile 0.40.2 libraries.

It's like that in my file as well, with the & meta-character. The
category name displays normally in every aspect of the application
except when creating a pie or bar chart of my expenses. You'll only see
it if you configure the 'Expense Pie chart' or 'Expense Bar chart'
(assuming yours is an expense account) to show details for the account
by setting 'Show accounts until level: ?' to the appropriate level and
of course including that account as one to be displayed. Basically what
I see next to my pie/bar chart over in the category keys is a color
coded square (indicating) the account, but with no label next to it.
