Hello Folks,

I am trying to install Finance::Quote using CPAN and didn't realise I
had to be online during the setup of CPAN so ir didn't locate the
mirrors. I logged on to the net and entered a couple of mirrors and made
another mistake by adding a period to the end of the url ending up as
ftp://ftp.perl.org/pub/CPAN/MIRRORED.BY. instead of
ftp://ftp.perl.org/pub/CPAN/MIRRORED.BY (which I entered as the second
url)

Anyway, it seemed to go OK (after logging on to the net of course) until
the end when it aborted with the following error:

cannot gzopen y/sources/authors/id/P/PJ/PJF/Finance-Quote-1.07.tar.gz no
such file or directory.

There is indeed no such file or directory on my system. Can someone
please explain what has gone wrong?

Kind regards,

Graeme.
