Online quotes

What are the reasons for having online quotes setup on a per
account/commodity basis?  It would seem more logical to have one global
preference--say, get quotes from Yahoo--and then perhaps provide an override
if necessary.  There are few occasions where multiple sources are necessary,
and if a source does become unreliable then changing each account individual
is current quite tedious.  I'll file a change request, but I wanted to poll
the group first to see if I'm missing something here...
