Open subaccounts

When an account in opened, gnucash shows a summary about the Present, 
the Future, the Cleared Reconciled and the Projected minimum sums. This 
is right.
I can also "open subaccounts." In this case gnucash shows me all the 
transactions of each subaccounts as well as the of the selected account 
itself. However the summary shows the above amounts only for the 
selected account and it doesn't count the subaccounts.
Is it the right behaviour?
