End of year

Is there some kind of procedure for closing off accounts at the end of the
year.  I would like to archive my current data for 2003 & 2004 and start fresh
using basicly the same account structure, but there are some accounts set up at
the transition period to the Euro that could be removed now.  I can't find
anything in the help on this.  A search feature in the help would be really
helpful though.
