Business: any type of inventory reporting available?

Gnucash doesn't have inventory.

Having said that, I don't know a good way to do what you want short of
having an expense account in a new comodity called "Kilometers".  But
that's probably more work than you want to do, and it leads to lots of
other potential issues (like balancing, exchange rates, etc).
