Did you rebuild all of fink after upgrading to Tiger or just gnucash?  
If not, I would recommend wiping out all of /sw (or mv'ing it to  
another location temporarily to make certain everything builds ok). I  
rebuilt all of fink after the 10.4 transitional tree came out and  
haven't had any problems with gnucash.
