Well that's good news - it proves gnucash 1.9.x being able to run on  
OS X at least. I'm using a fink skript to build gnucash. Most  
probably my problem is just a missing lib or having the wrong version  
of a lib installed. So if It's working for you, you could help me  
with an fink list -i > gc_list.txt?
