Hardware requirement of Gnucash

Probably not.  Or if it did (because you put on a HUGE swap space)
it would run very very slowly.  My 1.9/svn gnucash process has a virtual
size of 45MB, which 28MB resident in RAM.  Add X and the OS and
the rest of the OS that you need to run and I highly doubt you can
fit it into 32MB.
