trying to install GnuCash 2.0.0 on a Mac Intel/OSX (Tiger)

Have you tried the instructions at the Gnucash wiki:

  http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/MacOSXInstallation

I dont know if you can do it with fink yet.
