Quick Q's regarding MacOSX install of Gnucash 2.0.2

If you are already using fink, I think your background may be enough
to do the installation following step by step this page:
http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/MacOSXInstallation (using gnucash 2.0.2
and not the svn version)

I do not know I guess it's better (although not mandatory in my
opinion) ("sudo fink remove gnucash")

No, but : in this case you'll have multiple installations of many
packages... So my advice is ti use either fink either darwin ports,
not both...

If your data is in your home directory (where it should be), and not
in gnucash installation directory (where it shoud not be ;-))... you
do not need to do a backup...
But you should always backup regulary your data anyway ;-)
