New user - Inventory tracking functionality?

That's a shame, GNU Cash has been really good so far.  I've found a
couple of others though that seem to do what I want, so I might give
them a go.  Luckily we're still in the early stages of incorporating so
it's not like I have to do massive imports or anything...

At this time there are no plans to implement inventory in GnuCash.
You could attempt to do a small inventory system using the Stock
features, but that probably wouldn't give you quite the interface you'd
want.  No developer has shown up wanting to work on that.
