Yes, I stand corrected.  (I realised that just afterward, checking
the message header again.  Sorry.)

Still, my mailer is using other mechanism to build its own unique ID.
Messages with the same Message-Id are not rejected or replaced.
(I still think that mailman does not send message to other recipient.)
