only works as default language (login/logout)

Wait what precisely is the command you are typing ?

 env LANG=es_ES LANGUAGE=de_DE gnucash 



Does not work for me gnucash starts in english!

With the following error message
4:57:47  WARN <Gtk> Locale not supported by C library.
        Using the fallback 'C' locale.


I find it also odd that setenv LANG de_DE.UTF-8
seems to work but gnucash does not care.

I get the feeling this is an (K)ubuntu issue: bug?
