Not only is transferring from one piece of software to the other
uncommon, it _cannot_ be supported. There is no guarantee from Quicken
that their export be compatible with other software, and the same goes
for Gnucash. QIF is a standard format, and both Gnucash and Quicken
support QIF. But QIF can only represent data in the way that the
software creating it represents the data. The issue here is that
Quicken uses a different approach to invoices than Gnucash. Gnucash
supports importing from QIF, not importing from Quicken.

The author of Gnucash's QIF import feature tries to explain the
issues, and also documents how to go through your import from Quicken:

"Briefly, QIF files just don't contain enough information to
completely and accurately reconstruct your Quicken account hierarchy
in the GnuCash double entry system without some educated guessing by
the import code as well as some guidance, provided by you. "
