Ever hear of the principle of "do no harm"? That could have been applied
here. Identification of Invoice accounts was trivial. And they are known not
to be supported. It would therefore have been easy to not import them and
instead given a warning. Why are we arguing this?!? Are you saying the
current behavior is not wrong? Are you saying the current behavior is
preferred? Geeze some of you people are really being unreasonable and
unreasonably resisting simple changes to make the application better. It's
as if you want it to be worse than it could be. I fail to find your
motivation for that.

The author of Gnucash's QIF import feature tries to explain the issues, and
also documents how to go through your import from Quicken:

I'm simply saying if you can determine that there are invoice transactions -
and you can - and you know that you don't handle invoice transactions, then
don't import them! If there is something wildly illogical about that
statement then kindly point it out. If the statement is not illogical then
please tell me why you continue to resist such a suggestion?!?

Geeze this is needlessly painful!
