Hi Mike,

There are a couple of commercial vendors who offer an open source option:
1. Inventory: http://www.tracmor.com/get-tracmor.html TracMor They say
that "The Tracmor source is available under the terms of the GNU GPL v2
license." You can http://code.google.com/p/tracmor/ download the software
from Google code .
2. Point of sale: http://www.openbravo.com/product/pos/ OpenBravo POS They
offer a http://sourceforge.net/projects/openbravopos/files/ Community
Edition that can be downloaded from SourceForge . There are
http://forge.openbravo.com/plugins/espforum/view.php?group_id=101&forumid=434920&topicid=6994633
reports of successful installations in their forum.

I have not used the above products to be able to provide any feedback. Feel
free to check them out.

Best,
Ashok
