SLIB problem - installing 2.4 in Kubuntu

Did you follow the instructions listed at

http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Building#Ubuntu_10.04_LTS_.28Lucid_Lynx.29

These seem to be about the best (although they refer to 2.3.17 vs 2.4, but worked just fine for me) it also has details about how to get the SLIB right (creating a simlink).
