I don't install ANY software on my computers where I do not possess from 
what I could reinstall (that's NOT the same thing as having a backup of 
my installed system). I would be extremely suspicious of anybody 
providing software that did not allow me to download it. Note that there 
have been times where whoever was providing the software didn't 
(initially) say where it was (location coming from within the installer) 
but I have never been refused the information about where it was so I 
could download it and then install it (and now, since I downloaded it 
and presumably saved it, I can reinstall at some future date).
