Which files to backup?

I have an auto backup every day to a extra data disk, and one to
external ftp, backing up entire pc so no need for individual checking...
Can remember checking what to backup from what program to what partition
bladiebla, life got easier when changed to above backup process.
Just sharing my thoughts...
