Newbie problems with OFX import and Imbalance account

Thanks for the reply.

IMO, the above editing with the partial match is OK for a few entries, 
but considering how many entries there are, it would still be very 
tedious and feel like I am building a sand castle with tweezers.

I guess I will give KMyMoney a try.
