2.2.9 stoped working on W7

Dear All

I have been unable to run Gnucash on W7 since I installed the definitive version of the OS (Ultimate).

The beta version of W7 worked perfectly. Nonetheless, after trying to reinstall Gnucash for two times, the last one resulted on the following window:

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way."

At this time I have set the setup properties to run as administrator and with compatibility with XP Service pack 3.

Any ideas?
