Problems using GnuCash 2.3.15 on Win7

I am guessing you are planning to use this as an every day application?  If
so, you should be using version 2.2.9.  
The one you are using is for testing only.  I only read the email list every
now and then but I always see questions like this followed up with the
recommendation of using the latest stable version.

2.4 should be out sooner or later, but for real work use the 2.2.9.
